I suggest users to read www.lifehack.org which provides inspirational lists of topics in life that helps gain positive energy and mindset while tackling our daily life hassles. - In what ways have you contributed to your firm/company to make it better?
The unique approach I always did for my business was reverse my thinking and focus singularly on delivering a simple solution to a specific problem that people face. Having contributed by providing solutions on several such scenario these experiences have enabled me to build a reputation and strengthened the positioning of our relationship with clients. - In what ways do you participate in the professional community to change/improve the accounting profession?
In talking to the accounting communities locally as well as nationwide, there are many who still use conventional systems for their operations. Today’s technological innovations are so advanced that end-users hardly look for Accountants or even Attorneys for their needs. These advanced systems help them meet their needs with simplified questions and answers. While holding on to conventional methods and decades of subject matter experience which are indispensable, I do suggest and implement new technological innovations for the future of accounting procedures. - In what ways do you participate in your local community to help others?
1% for the Environment is my primary motto. And that in turn means a better life for us and the next generations. I have been an active member of the Conservation International and have been supporting their mission. I strongly believe that by empowering societies to responsibly and sustainably care for nature and the global biodiversity, the well-being of humanity is enriched. - What changes do you foresee in the accounting profession of the near future (3-5 years)?
There will be 3 major areas of change in the accounting profession. 1.) Cloud: All conventional systems will be migrated to cloud-based systems giving accountants anytime anywhere access to data. 2.) Integration: Adopting integrated financial systems that meets multitude of client requirements. 3.) Security: Security of the accounting information system aimed at carrying out objectives of customer needs inside a sound framework. - How do you see yourself participating in shaping the future of the accounting profession?
My goal is to help accounting firms and/or clients find a simplified, best and economical solution to accomplish their business objectives. My mission is to continue helping accounting firms implement advanced technological solutions using the best of consulting services and implementation of best practices in a cost effective manner. - What is your career philosophy?
My thoughts on career philosophy revolves around embracing the 5 star ideals. 1.) Supreme ethics: This not only keeps the profession secure but generates positive energy within the organization. 2.) Creativity: Creative planning and critical thinking approach. 3.) Uniqueness: Making a difference at work approach. 4.) Knowledge Sharing: Being resourceful and sharing the knowledge to peers and clients. 5.) Balanced work: Work hard. Play harder is my philosophy that brings more productivity at work. - Describe one person who has been an important mentor to you and how that person helped change your life.
My Dad has been and always will be my most influential role model. He was the one who instilled deep rooted values and ethics while being a wonderful friend and perfect dad. His incredible work life balance and strong belief in God has always been my motivation and has helped me to be where I am today. He passed away 8 years ago and I dedicate this success to him who is watching from above.
